A 13-year sales high in the boating industry coincided with research and blade design enhancements for Morse’s line of carbide tipped hole saws. The Kraken proved a timely launch and the product boasts patent-pending tooth geometry that speeds cutting while also delivering a longer blade life. The boating industry was the targeted market for the Kraken, but the hole saw returned unrivaled results in many other applications, as well. The ideal Kraken customer has now expanded from cutting primarily fiberglass to include plastic, aluminum, fastener embedded wood, composites, stainless steel plate, tile backer, and more.
