CANTON, Ohio – Morse has launched its latest innovation in cutting technology, the M-Factor HSN band saw blade.
Engineered to cut aluminum billets, non-ferrous alloys, engine blocks, and aluminum components, M-Factor HSN (High Speed Non-Ferrous) can also handle graphite, copper, and bronze alloys.
The blade features a thinner kerf and multi-chip tooth design that delivers reduced cutting temperatures for longer blade life, especially in aluminum solids.
Aluminum service centers, automotive manufacturers, and any users performing high-speed cuts on non-ferrous, soft materials will see cooler cutting temperatures, reduced vibration, and longer cutting performance with M-Factor HSN.
“High-speed aluminum cutting generates a lot of heat in the workpiece, which can cause materials to get ‘gummy’ and impact a band saw blade by clogging the gullets or stripping the teeth,” said Industrial Product Manager Pete Vandervaart. “M-Factor HSN is designed to cut aluminum and other non-ferrous applications at a lower heat level, giving users that fast cut they need to maximize productivity while also extending blade life for a lower cost per cut.”
M-Factor HSN joins the already robust Morse product line of band saw blades and power tool accessories, enhancing our position as a one-stop shop for all your cutting needs.
