Morse India, together with its distributor partners, is celebrating 10 years in business.
The Pune Weld Center held an open house April 4-5 for distributors across the country where they highlighted product development, territory growth, success stories, and the Morse vision for India through 2025.
Awards were given recognizing highest overall sales, individual product sales achievements, growth, and emerging distributors in 2022.
Since the inception of the India location, the weld center has grown from 3,000 square feet to 4,400 square feet. Originally a one-welder facility, the weld center has grown to now house three welders and more than triple the amount of welds completed per month. Automation in capping has been introduced, along with ERP (enterprise resource planning) software that has improved inventory management, invoicing, and account-focused reporting.
A main focus in 2023 is to increase welds per month by one third, said Sameer Marde, Country Manager, India.
